New Release Features

For Buyers:

  • Batch Upload: For buyers that are uploading XML orders from another system (e.g. Arbitron's SmartPlus), you can now upload multiple orders at once using ePort's new batch upload capability.

  • SBX Upload: Agencies that use Strata's buy-management system can now upload SBX orders into ePort (Strata's add-on "Eleven" product is no longer required to send orders using ePort).

  • Current Order Status: There are new "View Current Order Status" and "Print Current Order Status" options that will present a single view of an order that incorporates all changes (makegoods and revisions) to date.

  • Column Headings: Detail views for Orders, Revisions, and Makegoods are now shown with column headings that do not scroll out of view when there are many buy lines.

For Sellers:

  • Revise Makegood: You can now revise and resend a makegood that was previously confirmed, rejected, or canceled.

  • Makegood Highlighting: Makegood spot changes are now highlighted in yellow as you make them; whenever the proposed value is different from the current value, it is highlighted in yellow.

Frequently Asked Questions from our Support Desk:

Q. I can't find my order - where did it go?
A. ePort is a document based system. Each of the main tabs (Inbox, Pending, Drafts, and Completed) has its own set of sub-tabs. Once an order, revision, or accepted makegood has been confirmed, it will move from the Inbox to the Completed tab and will be filed in the appropriate sub-tab. Documents will remain in the completed tab for 30 days, at which time they move to the "File Cabinet." All documents can be accessed in the File Cabinet by selecting "Search" from the "What do you want to do?" drop down menu and selecting the appropriate Search criteria.

Q. I am trying to confirm my order (or revision), and I'm getting an error stating "unable to confirm this order."
A. Open the order by clicking on the station call letters. The order status will change from "New" to "Pending Review." Once the status has changed, you will be able to confirm the order.

Q. I am trying to print my order (revision, or makegood), but do not seem able to print the entire document.
A. Make sure you are selecting "Print" from the "What do you want to do?" drop down menu and not using the Print icon in your browser. You should always use ePort's navigation controls and not the browser's when going from screen to screen.

Q. I am trying to enter a new makegood, and one of the spot counts I want to change is greyed-out and I am unable to change it.
A. Greyed-out spots in a given week are currently locked by a previous makegood. Make sure you have confirmed all "Accepted" makegoods on the order. Accepted makegoods need to be "Confirmed" or "Canceled" in order to complete the workflow and unlock all spots for that order. Once the confirmation or cancel has processed you will be able to change the spot total in the Proposed box.

Q. I know that I need to enter a makegood on the most recent confirmed version of my order. Is there an easy way to determine what the most recent confirmed version of the order is?
A. Clicking on the "Transaction" icon for any document in any summary screen will show you all of the documents associated with that order and will also show the current status of each document.
